Carol Collingwood Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Grace Memorial - Smith Chapel - Port Huron from Dec. 4 to Dec. 5, 2025.
Carol "Duck" Ann Collingwood, 53, of Port Huron, passed away on December 3, 2025. Born on August 26, 1972, in Port Huron, Michigan. Carol was the cherished daughter of the late Linda Ruth Reid.
She was a graduate of Jefferson Adult Learning Center. Following her graduation, she dedicated her life to caregiving, along with roles in hospitality and customer service, which showcased her innate ability to connect with people. She will be remembered as a pillar of strength and kindness.
Carol found immense joy in playing with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking. Carol's kitchen was a place of gathering, where friends and family spent countless hours in each other's company, sharing stories and making memories.
Carol's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family. She is survived by her loving children, Thomas Olvera Jr., Johnathan Olvera, Cierra Johnson, and Taylor Johnson; 12 grandchildren; sister, Tammy Sanchez; brother, Charles Reid; lifelong friends, Regina "Lucy" Uhunmwangho and Juanita "Tiny" Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Linda; and granddaughter, Paris Prather.
Above all, Carol was thoughtful, always placing the needs of others before her own and ensuring that those she loved felt valued and cared for. Carol Ann Collingwood's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and selflessness. As we bid her farewell, we take comfort in knowing that her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. Her memory will be cherished, her presence sorely missed, and her impact on our lives forever treasured.
A gathering and viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Smith Chapel, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron, Michigan 48060.
