Carol Ann Craig, 79, of Corry, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Corry Manor.

She was born on October 11, 1946, in Corry, PA, a daughter of the late Carlyle Fitch and Lucille (Smith) Fitch Whippo.

Carol was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry Area High School in 1964. Carol then attended Transylvania Bible College in Freeport, PA and graduated in 1970. After graduation, she returned to Corry and married. She worked in housekeeping at Corry Memorial Hospital, where she worked for close to 40 years and retired in 1999.

She was a member of Corry Church of the Nazarene, on the church board for 35 years and church board secretary for 11 years. She also was NYI President for 30 years, Sunday School teacher for 25 years, member of the Hospital Auxiliary and Head Steward for over 30 years. Carol loved being a part of the Youth Ministry and was always involved in some capacity. She enjoyed camping and being with her family most of all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas Whippo; a daughter in infancy and sister, Dorothy Stewart.

Carol is survived by her husband, David Craig, whom she married on June 26, 1971; daughter, Pam (Noble) Martin of Corry, PA; two sisters, Mona (Perry) Hunzinger of Warren, PA and Dolly (Jim) Burlingame of New Castle, PA; two brothers, Albert (Sandy) Whippo of Ringgold, PA and Thomas (Carolyn) Whippo of Honolulu, HI; two grandchildren, Kurtis (Victoria) Martin of Brownsville, PA and Ryan Martin of Corry, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 14th at Corry Church of the Nazarene, 246 Marion St, Corry, PA 16407 from 10 am until the time of the memorial service there at 12 noon. Rev. Shannon Hannah will officiate.

Burial will take place at Lawn Cemetery, Corry, PA in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corry Church of the Nazarene.

Arrangements are under the care of Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA 16407.
