Carol Sue Dabbs, born on November 22, 1949, in Bakersfield, California, passed away on December 9, 2025, in Chouteau, Oklahoma. She led a life marked by compassion and dedication, primarily as an LPN Nurse, where she devoted her career to caring for others.
Carol's passions extended beyond her profession; she found joy in crochet, relished the companionship of her dogs, and cherished moments spent outdoors with friends. Fishing was one of her beloved hobbies, allowing her to connect with nature and unwind.
She is survived by her son, Del Dabbs of Chouteau, OK; daughters, Sheri' and her husband Mike Kennedy of Pryor, OK, and Deborah and her husband Scot Dennis of Seymour, MO; her brother, Tommy Davis of Drumright, OK; and her brother Raymond Davis and his wife Violet of Siloam Springs, AR. Carol was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and delighted in the company of six great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William Davis and Mary Maxine (Bolen) Davis, her husband Wayne Dabbs, and her sister Sheryl Smith.
Visitation will be held at Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service in Pryor, Oklahoma, on December 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will honor her life at the Tabernacle of Praise/United Pentecostal Church Inc. in Chouteau, Oklahoma, on December 19, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM. Carol Sue Dabbs will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her profession, and her many hobbies, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
