Carol Anne Davidson

Carol Anne Davidson, age 83, of Northville Township, Michigan, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Angela Hospice in Livonia.

She was born on September 24, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to Peter and Veronica (née Zink) Lassing. Carol was a longtime resident of Farmington Hills, Michigan, where she lived from 1978 until 2024.

Carol graduated from the University of Detroit and began her career as a school teacher before returning to school for a second career in tax accounting. She approached life with loyalty, grace, and a deep commitment to those she loved. Carol also loved to travel, especially enjoying cruises, and was well known among family and friends for her uncanny luck at bingo and her passion for puzzles and games of all types.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John E. Davidson, Jr.; her daughter Susan (Steve Murray); her daughter in law Amy Davidson; her brothers Peter (Linda), Ray (Peggy), and Doug (Val) Lassing; her grandchildren Andrew, Elizabeth, Jack, and Will Davidson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sadly, Carol is preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael, and her parents, Peter and Veronica Lassing.

A funeral Mass celebrating Carol's life will be Thursday, September 18, 11 am (in state 10:30 am), St. Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Road, Farmington, MI 48336.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Angela Hospice, 14100 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48154.
