Remembering my beautiful sister. Early impressions are the ones that remain and so it is with my memories of Carol who liked to be fun. As a teen, she & her friends dressed in winter outerwear and walked down a local main street during mid summer heat, drawing lots of stares and attention. When she learned to drive, she took us on a wonderful little trip in her black Renault Fiat through a park with hilly roads and tall shade trees as we sang loudly,Wow Eee A, It´s Aunt Jemima Day ! If it doesn´t sound fun, guess you had to be there! She once recounted a time when she painted her shoes white to go with an outfit using Sears Best House Paint only to look down one misty day and find that she was standing in a puddle of white. Her children, grandchildren and great grands were the joy of her life. It is hard for me to believe that she has crossed over but I am trusting I will see her again in Heaven and she will tell me some goofy story of trying to glue her Halo on with Guerila Glue. LOL. I love you Carol and miss you very much. Thank you for always remembering my kids on many Birthdays , Christmases, and special occasions. I´m so thankful that you are my Sister.
