Graveside services for Carol Ann Gorman, 77, will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. Pastor John Welch will be officiating the service.

Carol was born on April 25, 1948 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Jarrett and Clara Stephens and passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at home in Frierson.

Carol was a resident of Frierson, Louisiana. She spent her career doing factory work. She was a huge NASCAR fan and loved watching "Gunsmoke."

Carol is preceded in death by her father, Jarrett Stephens; mother, Clara Stephens; brother, Jarrett Stephens, Jr,; and special friend, Charles Stampley. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Angela Jordan; grandchildren, Shelby Hooker and spouse, Clint, Taylor Lawson and spouse, Meghan, and Justin Jordan; great-grandchildren, Rayden Hooker and Cooper Lawson; sisters, Billie Houston and spouse, Charlie, and Sharon Orr; and many nieces and nephews.

Honoring Carol as pallbearers will be Taylor Lawson, Justin Jordan, Cody Hooker, Jordon Perkins, Shelby Hooker, and Zach Irvin. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Mitchell Hakun.

The family would like to thank Willis Knighton Pierremont and Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care, compassion and love they gave to Carol during her time of need.

Carol will be greatly missed, but we will continue to love and cherish her memory forever.
