Carol (Hellmann) Hart, 90, passed into eternal life on November 5, 2025. Born in Covington, Kentucky in 1935, she was a long-time resident of Edgewood and Crescent Springs. She was a life-long educator who will be long remembered by the children she taught, tutored, and influenced. She received her education at Our Lady of Providence Academy in Newport and Villa Madonna College in Covington. She was married to John Hart, who predeceased her in 2015. Carol embodied her last name and had a huge heart for the children in her life. Her grandniece, Julia, and grandnephews, Nick and Johnny, could get her to do anything; and she would happily play along.
A devout Catholic, she had a great love for Jesus and the Blessed Mother. She always had a Cross and her Rosary close at hand. All she longed for in her last years was to be united with Our Lord. She is survived by her sister, Tracy Feldmann; and nephew, Steve (Kate) Feldmann; and the joys of her life, Julia (Sean), Nick, and Johnny. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Mary and Sylvester Hellmann; her sister, Jane Hellmann; and her brother-in-law, Don (Tracy). She was a singular and unique soul who will be missed. At Carol’s request, the funeral service will be for family only.
