Mrs. Carol Ann Hines, age 79, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at her residence.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Carol was born on July 20, 1945 in Allen County, KY to the late Cecil Glidewell Ogles and the late Melvera “Vera” (Marcrum) Ogles. She is also preceded in death by her late husband's, Rayme Spivey, L.C. Hines and Don Norwood; a brother, Darrell Jervis Ogles; and a sister, Linda Lou Ogles.
She is survived by 3 children, Mike Spivey, Jessie Spivey (Christy) and Wendell Frank Spivey all of Franklin, KY; a sister, Tina Grace (Junior) of Franklin, KY; a brother, Leonard Ogles of Franklin, KY; 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Carol was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Orlinda, TN. She was retired from The Kendall Company/Tyco. Carol enjoyed nature and loved her cat.
