Carol received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Hamline University in 1957. Throughout her career Carol worked as a public health nurse, wound nurse, family social services provider, a family therapist, and taught nursing at Augsburg College. Carol enjoyed their cabin at Hovland, treasuring her time on the North Shore.
