Carol Jackson Obituary
Carol Kay Jackson, age 74 of Battle Creek passed away peacefully at her home on Friday evening, December 5, 2025. She was born in Batesville, Mississippi on May 25, 1951, the daughter of Esca Riley and Margaret (Moore) Bright. Carol enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the Casino, being outdoors, watching her mowing shows & family Feud, and spending time with her family.
Carol is survived by her children, Larry Jackson, Melissa (Duane) Green, Fred Burbank III, and Dustin Burbank; her step-children, Regina (Al) Martin, Eric Burbank, and Deric Burbank; and several brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin sister, Carolyn Fay Bright.
The family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2025 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where services to celebrate Carol’s life will begin at 11:00 a.m. The service will be Live-streamed and may be viewed at https://vimeo.com/event/5570823. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Personal messages for the family and/or favorite memories of Carol may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
