Carol Jenkins Barnett

PUBLIX WAS ALWAYS A FAVORITE GROCERY STORE OF MY MOTHER WHEN WE LIVED IN FLORIDA. I REMEMBER MEETING GEORGE JENKINS THE FOUNDER OF PUBLIX AT JAMESTOWN PLACE THE FIRST PUBLIX SUPERSTORE IN ALTAMONTE SPRINGS. MRS. BARNETT DID A LOT OF GOOD FOR BILL AND ASA CANDLER.

I Started with Publix in 1975 and became staff in 1990. Remember Carol to be young and pretty( with all do respect to Barney). She loved getting to know us at Publix events. Very nice lady. Grateful to have known her. RIP. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family

I remember a few conversations with her over the years and she always wanted to know my Publix story and my encounters with her father. I was texting one of my Mentors after the Ceremony and said after this many years growing up Publix and respecting the Jenkins family , it´s kinda like saying good bye to a family member. Praying for the Barnett and Jenkins families doing their time of grief. The legacy of giving is alive and well in Publix and in many who have retired from Publix. Thanks for all that Carol did to establish effective giving guidelines which continue to be upheld. Thanks for the many years of service of those in the Barnett and Jenkins families. You are loved and our hearts go out to you at this time.

Thank you for your taking care and being a part of a great family company. You help provide a great life for me. You also helped so many with your charity giving. I pray you´re now in heaven rejoicing and Praising Jesus. May God comfort your family and friends and the thousands of lives you touched.
