Carol Johnson, vibrant spirit and cherished friend, was born on October 5, 1967, in Cortlandt, New York. The daughter of the late Alfred Johnson and Helene (Hagstrand) Johnson. She graced this world for nearly 58 years before passing peacefully on September 17, 2025 at home in Germantown.
Carol's life was filled with warmth, laughter, and an infectious positivity that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. An active individual, she worked for many years at COARC in Mellenville, where she not only contributed her skills and heart but also forged many lasting friendships.
Carol is survived by her sister Gini McCain, of Florida, in addition to her close friends and extended family at COARC.
A graveside service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor her life.
