Carol Ann Kubenko

Carol Ann (Crusan) Kubenko, 86, of Latrobe (Unity Twp.), passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born December 5, 1939, in Latrobe, to the late John S. and Lois (Good) Crusan. Carol was a retired office worker for Latrobe Steel and Alco Steel. She also had worked as a proofreader and society editor at the Latrobe Bulletin and as a secretary for Westmoreland County Community College, Latrobe. She was a longtime member of Latrobe United Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Crusan. Carol is survived by her husband, Joseph Kubenko; two children, Amy Bereit (Mark) and Todd J. Kubenko (Val); and four grandchildren, Liz, Elliot, Meg and Nate.
