Carol Lasseigne Obituary
St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 03, 2024, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Carol "T-Cal" Joseph Lasseigne, 78, who passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at his residence.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville on Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until service time.
A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM on Tuesday.
Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the funeral service.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Carol was born on February 14, 1946, in St. Martinville. He was a dedicated crane operator in the oilfield and an esteemed Army veteran. Beyond his professional achievements, Carol found joy in various hobbies and interests that brought him closer to his loved ones. From crawfishing and crabbing to card games at the American Legion, he cherished the moments spent with family and friends. His love for camaraderie extended to sipping coffee with friends and trying his luck at the casino, always embracing life's adventures with a contagious spirit.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Theriot Lasseigne; daughters, Tisa Broussard (Duane), Jennifer Lasseigne (Snap), Jessica Broussard (Brad), and Anitra Latiolais (Bryan); grandchildren, Josh Broussard, Trent Broussard, Jade Broussard, Brooke Broussard, Alexis Latiolais, Alayna Latiolais, and Bryce Latiolais; great grandchildren, Emi and Ricky; and his dog, Bosco.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alphie and Ursula Robichaux Lasseigne; sister, Dorothy Dail; and his son-in-law, Ricky Broussard.
Pallbearers will be Brad Broussard, Josh Broussard, Trent Broussard, Logan LaBiche, Jayde Boudreaux, and Chad Breaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be Snap Laviolette, Duane Wolfe, Lil' Ricky Broussard, Bryan Latiolais, Raymond Latiolais, Roy Savoy, T-Black Theriot, Mark Theriot, and Jim Theriot.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
