Carol Ann Leitgep-Faust, 82, of Tamaqua, passed away on March 2, 2026, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital. She was a devoted wife to the late David Faust, marking a partnership filled with shared moments and cherished memories.
Born on February 23, 1944, in Allentown, PA, Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Edward R. and Jessie Marie (Beam) McCracken-Fluck. Her life was characterized by a passion for music, with a particular fondness for singing Elvis songs. Carol's joy was often found on the dance floor, where her spirit shone brightly, complemented by her love for the sweet treat of PEEPS, which brought a smile to her face.
Carol's legacy continues through her loving family. She is survived by her one and only daughter, Brenda Marie Knoble, and her fiancé, David A. Krause. Her grandchildren, R. Brendan Knoble III, Wade Joseph Knoble (preceded in death), and Andrew Richard Knoble, have been sources of pride and joy in her life. Carol also embraced her role as a great-grandmother to Sean Knoble, Torri Knoble, Wade Knoble, Alazae Knoble, Tristan Knoble, Anthony Knoble, Greysen Knoble and Hudsen Knoble and as a great-great-grandmother to Kalani, Kayden, Nevaeh.
In honoring Carol’s memory, her family has opted for private services to reflect on the life she lived and the love she shared. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., located at 655 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
