Carol Liermann

Carol Liermann, 91, a beloved 50-year Libertyville resident, passed away peacefully on March 18th, surrounded by her loving family.

A woman of deep and abiding faith, Carol's life was a testament to her devotion to God and her family. She lovingly raised five children and actively served her community through her work at Marytown in Libertyville and St. Mary of the Lake Seminary in Mundelein. A dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Carol's unwavering faith and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carol is survived by her loving children, Suzanne (James) Schaul, Mary Kay (Bill) Anderson, Dwayne (Suzanne) Liermann, Martha Liermann and Scott Liermann; her cherished grandchildren, Justin and Joseph Schaul, Talor and Sean Anderson and Lily (Jack) Liermann; her dearest sister, Eleanor Riley; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth of 42 years of marriage; her parents, Edward and Eleanor Riley; her brother, Robert and sister, Jean Renner.

Visitation for Carol will be from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday, March 20th, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Pl., Libertytville.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, March 21st, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple Ave., Libertyville, with a visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church.
