Carol Eileen Triplett Logan was born February 28, 1946 in Waco, TX. She was the daughter of Jessie Eileen Carpenter Triplett and Max Triplett.
Carol graduated from Wink High School. She graduated from Texas Western College, now known as University of Texas-El Paso. Carol was an educator, having spent more than 30 years teaching in El Paso. Her career included teaching high school English and Spanish and ultimately becoming an assistant principal for Hanks High School.
After retirement, she moved to Austin, TX where she became a docent at The Thinkery children's museum. She also volunteered to teach English to immigrant parents.
Moving to Albuquerque NM brought her back to her beloved mountains where she spent her last remaining years painting and enjoying the New Mexico vistas. Carol was a lifelong United Methodist.
Her family members are Ian & Adela Logan, Kyle and Lorelai. Siblings are Billy Max Triplett, Betsy Triplett-Hurt, and Patricia Hatcher & husband James. Nieces, nephews and cousin are Rachel & Sam Mahserjian, Samuel & James; Thomas & Kayleigh Triplett, Emma, Thomas Luke, Ivalyn, Aiden, Declan; Joseph & Diana Hatcher, Avery and Lucca; Amy & Jess Tolles, Jet and Cooper; and cousin, Louis Carpenter.
The family expresses gratitude to caregiver Samantha Blatchford, Amaran Senior Living Facility and Legacy Hospice for caring for Carol.
To fulfill her wishes, Carol's ashes will be scattered in the Sandia Mountains.
