Carol Lombardo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremation Society - Sarasota on Dec. 4, 2025.
Carol Ann Lombardo, 83, a resident of Parrish, Florida, and long-term resident of both Sarasota and Manatee counties, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on November 30th, 2025.

Born and raised in Yonkers, New York, Carol was a proud 1959 graduate of Gorton High School. Over the years, she held several roles she cherished-including working at AT&T, serving as a medical receptionist, and dedicating herself to being a stay-at-home mom, her most treasured job of all.

Carol married the love of her life, Robert Lombardo, on May 15th, 1965. The couple settled in Westchester County, New York, where they raised their three children for fifteen years before moving to Florida to continue building their life together.

Carol held many passions throughout her life, including reading, knitting, and bowling. Above all, she was deeply devoted to her role as a grandmother, and nothing brought her more joy than the time spent with her four grandchildren. A devoted Catholic, Carol lived her faith daily through kindness, humility, and compassion for others.

Carol was a loving sister, wife, mother, aunt, and Nana. Her joyful laugh and unshakable faith will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Lombardo, and her brother, Alfred Baudais Jr.

Carol is survived by her three children, Diane Soler, Nicholas Lombardo, and Barb Miller. Her sisters Kathleen Durkin, and Jean Corlieto. Her four cherished grandchildren: Cody Soler, Zoe Soler, Sophia Lombardo, and Zachary Lombardo.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2025, at The Church of St. Patrick, 7900 Bee Ridge Rd., Sarasota, FL 34241, at 10:30 AM.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Daybreak Adult Day Center at Meals on Wheels Plus of Manatee County, 811 23rd Ave E Bradenton FL 34208 or Online @ mealsonwheelsplus.org/donate
