Carol Lovejoy Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 4, 2025.
We celebrate the life of Carol Ann Lovejoy, who passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at the age of 64 in Little River, SC. Born on April 3, 1961, in Lewiston, Maine, Carol spent her life as a beacon of warmth and love to all who knew her.

Carol dedicated her professional life to serving others as a receptionist in the healthcare field. Her welcoming smile and compassionate nature brought comfort to countless individuals over the years, leaving a lasting impact on both colleagues and patients alike.

Her life was a testament to the beauty of simple pleasures and the joy found in everyday moments. Carol had an innate talent for creating a warm and inviting home, delighting in decorating for each season. Her culinary skills were exceptional; she was an excellent cook and baker whose kitchen was often filled with laughter and delicious aromas shared with family and friends.

Carol had a passion for adventure and enjoyed spending time surrounded by nature. She loved camping and boating along the serene waters of Maine, where she lived for most of her life. These outings were more than just hobbies; they were cherished moments of connection and reflection by the water's edge.

A devoted gardener, Carol found peace in planting and nurturing flowers, watching them bloom and bring vibrant color into the world, much like she did in the lives of those around her. Her generous spirit extended beyond her personal passions, as she found joy in shopping not just for herself but in service to others.

Preceded in death by her beloved parents, David and Wanita Yeaton, Carol leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her memory: her husband, Stephen Scott Lovejoy; daughter, Nicole Lovejoy of Canton, ME; sister, Lori Stetson of Oxford, ME; and brother, David Yeaton of Mechanic Falls, ME. Though no services are scheduled at this time, her family invites those who knew her to reflect and celebrate her life in their own meaningful ways.

Carol Ann Lovejoy's legacy is one of love, kindness, and grace. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched, a reminder to find beauty in the everyday and to cherish our time with those we hold dear.
