COOLVILLE—Carol Lucas, 89, of Coolville, OH, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 8, 1936, in Heath Springs, S.C., daughter of the late Coy and Myrtle Young Dowdle. Carol was a member of the Torch Baptist Church, where she was an active member.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy and Eric Frost; 3 sons, Jay and Rene Cato, Jeff and Casey Cato and Scott and Sharon Cato; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lucas.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Friday, May 9, 2025, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Brian Ziegler officiating. Burial will follow in the Frost Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Friday, one hour prior the service.
