CAROL MACOMBER Obituary

CAROL MACOMBER Fitchburg - Carol Macomber, 69, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, with family by her side. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Harold J. Macomber. She is survived by her brothers and their spouses, Jack Donisvitch and Pam Tomlinson, and Edward Donisvitch and Bruce Fleming; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. As a child, Carol was beautiful inside and out, always smiling and bringing joy to those around her. Born and raised in Clinton, daughter of the late John and Emilia "Toni" (Belmonte) Donisvitch, Carol worked in her hometown for many years before moving with her late husband, Harold, to Clearwater, Fla. There they built a life filled with cherished memories. As an adult, she never stopped thinking of family, always asking about every distant relation. Though she faced challenges with physical health and mental illness, Carol never lost her faith. She has found peace and love in heaven and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral Services are TBD and entrusted to the care of Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com.
