Carol Marchesseault Obituary

Carol Marchesseault
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Carol M. Marchesseault, age 92, of Naugatuck, shares the news of her unexpected passing at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford on Friday, October 17th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was the widow of Lucien G. Marchesseault.
Carol was born on November 25th, 1932, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Anthony and Lucy (Ricci) Ermeri. Carol embraced her role as a devoted wife and loving mother, where she cultivated a warm and welcoming environment for her family. For 68 beautiful years, Carol shared her life with her beloved husband, Lucien.
The Marchesseault family extends their deepest gratitude to the many caregivers and health providers who offered support and compassion during Carol's illness. A special acknowledgment is given to Cindy and Lorissa, and Caitlyn along with the dedicated staff at Saint Francis Hospital's MSICU, and to Vitas Hospice. Your care and empathy made a profound difference during this challenging time.
Left to cherish her memory and honor her life are her children, Michael Marchesseault of Naugatuck, Christopher Marchesseault, and his wife, Paula of Waterbury, and Lori McWeeney and her husband, Fran of Wolcott. She also leaves her siblings, Joan Jannetty of Oakville, Irene Parenteau of Prospect, her brother, Richard Ermeri of Waterbury. Carol and Lucien were blessed with four devoted grandchildren, Christopher and Colin Marchesseault, Drew Michael and Alicia McWeeney, and two great-grandchildren, Madeline and Savannah, her beloved dog Teddy, as well as many nieces and nephews, other extended family members, and many friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Vincent, Robert, and Paul Ermeri.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marchesseault will be held on Monday, October 27th, 2025, when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St Michael's Church, 62 St. Michael's Dr, Waterbury, CT.
