Carol Mennona Obituary

Carol was born in Manhattan, New York on November 24, 1943, a daughter of the late William and Mildred (McDermont) Russell. She was educated in the New York City School System and spent her working career as a waitress in the restaurant industry.
She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed trips to the casino.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her son, William R. Mennona and a brother, Robert W. Russell.
Surviving is daughters, Gina Whittaker and her husband, Jack of Tobyhanna, and Linda Bozilesky and her husband, Mike of Lehighton, sons, Lou Mennona and his wife, Trisha of Nazareth, and Steve Mennona of Pocono Pines, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday September 6, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. 35 Sterling Road Mount Pocono. Interment will follow in Pocono Lake Cemetery, 395 Old Route 940 Pocono Pines. A visitation will be held on Thursday September 5, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 35 Sterling Road, Mount Pocono, where online condolences can be made @www.yanacfuneralhome.com
