Carol K Miller

Carol Kay Miller, 55, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on February 8, 2026, following a courageous battle with lung cancer first diagnosed in October 2023.

Throughout her journey, Carol fought with the same strength and resilience that defined her life. Carol was born on August 2, 1970, in Newport, Virginia, Carol was the beloved daughter of James Miller and Shara (Wantland) Miller. Carol's professional life was a reflection of her heart. She worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a role in which she took immense pride. She found great fulfillment in caring for those who could not care for themselves, providing comfort and dignity to her patients with a gentle touch and a dedicated spirit. While Carol was a caregiver by profession, her greatest joy was her family. She believed that family was the foundation of everything. She is survived by her two sons, James D. Eagen (Stockbridge, MI) and Mark E. Miller (Jackson, MI). also survived by her two siblings, Tammy S. Miller (Spring Arbor, MI) and Thomas E. Miller (Jackson, MI). Carol also leaves behind a legacy of love through her many grandchildren, nieces, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply.

Carol will be remembered for her nurturing soul, her work ethic, and her unwavering devotion to her loved ones. She leaves behind a community and a family who are better for having known her.
