Carol was my friend since elementary school. We went to the same schools and church. She was kind and caring to everyone. We called each other on our birthdays. She fought diligently through many health challenges and was doing great when we visited last summer. She was a very devoted Christian. I will miss her but take comfort knowing she is in a wonderful place.
