Carol passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 at the Norfolk Veterans Home in Norfolk, NE.

Carol Jean Orr was born on September 24, 1943 in Sioux City, IA. She grew up in Anton, IA and graduated from Anthon High School. She served in the United States Army Women's Army Corp.

On August 28, 1970, she was united in marriage to Raymond Orr in Union, SD. The family lived in Lexington until moving to West Point in 1984. Ray and Carol operated Daylight Donuts until 1992. Carol later worked at PetroMart.

Carol was an excellent seamstress, making wedding dresses. She enjoyed cooking and baking.

Daughter-Marlene Seaton of Sioux City, IA and sons- Jackson and David

Son-Terry Orr of Emerson, NE and children-Russell, Edward, and Morgan

Son-Kalvin and Tami Orr currently in Wyoming and children-Josh and Brani

Son-Lyle Orr of Douglas, WY and children-Kyla, Kari, Michael, Tabitha, and Kasey

Daughter-Cheryl Phouthavong of Grand Island, NE and children-Kelly, Brittany, Kaylan, and Tanner

Daughter-Janine Kreikemeier of West Point, NE and children-Justin, Jada, Travis, and Casey

Siblings-Jim Renneker of Minnesota

Joyce and Bob Tullis of Texas

Bill and Kathy Renneker of South Dakota

Murial and Daniel McDermott of Iowa

Mary and Peter Sorenson of Pennsylvania

Carol was preceded in death by her husband-Ray, three sons-Timmy Wayne, Lee, and Timothy Alan, granddaughter-Jennifer, and a sister-in-law-Karen Renneker.
