Carol A. Ortt

Even though she was our aunt, we simply called her Carol. She felt more like a close cousin. My best memories took place at the farmhouse where she grew up in Isleta: the outhouse, Old Stone Fort, coffee over big saltine squares. Carol was, perhaps, the meekest person I've known. Several years ago she gave me the news I wanted to hear: she had given her life to Christ and was baptized. What a joy to know she is with mom and other loved ones now, but especially with her Savior!
