Carol Joan Rubinstein

Carol Rubinstein, 92 years old, of Freehold, NJ, passed away on November 17, 2025. Carol was born in Brooklyn on April 24,1933, daughter of Joseph and Evelyn Singer. Carol grew up in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn. On February 28, 1953, she married Abraham Rubinstein.
After a couple of years Carol and Abe started a family in the Bronx. Abe opened up a retail store while Carol stayed home as a homemaker. After their second child the family moved to Paramus, NJ, where they opened a retail decorating store known as Mister Paints. Carol became skilled in interior decorating and worked together with Abe, contributing to the store's success.
Carol was a caring and thoughtful person and loved being with family. So proud of her four grandchildren, she wore their accomplishments like a badge of honor. Carol and Abe were deeply in love, a love which only grew over time.
Carol is survived by their two sons and spouses, Ronald L. Rubinstein and Karen (Freehold, NJ) and Mitchell L. Rubinstein and Gayle (Robbinsville, NJ.). Carol has four grandchildren, Jason, Adam, Arielle and Jordan, and nieces and nephews, all of whom survive her. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Joseph Singer and her sister Leatrice Burwasser. Carol's husband, Abraham Rubinstein, passed away just five weeks ago.
Carol was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
