Carol Shaffer (Champagne) - Age 75, of Linden, MI, passed away peacefully on December 20th, 2024 with her family by her side. She was a devoted daughter, beloved wife of 54 years, and the very best mother and grandmother. Carol was a devout Christian who taught Sunday school for 33 years and went on 13 mission trips, many of them eyeglass clinics which helped people with their vision, something very personal to her since she was legally blind and struggled with her own eyesight. Carol had the biggest heart and volunteered for countless activities throughout her life. She loved to read, travel, and attend church events. Carol is survived by her husband, Steve Shaffer, daughters Renee Walker (Eric), Jennifer Tarnoff (Andy), and four grandchildren Aidan, Carson, Katelyn, and Hannah. She is also survived by her brother, Randy Champagne (Deb), and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Champagne (Orgeck), father Henry Champagne, and brother Wayne Champagne.
She will forever be in our hearts and we look forward to reuniting in heaven as promised through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
