Carol Stocks Obituary
Carol enjoyed reading and putting together puzzles, and playing cards and BINGO. She was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Brewers. Carol also enjoyed being around horses and loved going to horse shows. Spending time with her family was a big part of Carol's life, as was listening to classic country music.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, husband Otto, son David Knight, Sr., stepson Donnie Stocks, brother and sister-in-law Charles and Sue Rakow.
She is survived by her children: Roger (Beverly) Knight, Jr. of Highland, Robert (Amy) Knight of Dodgeville, Carl Stocks of Carbondale, Ill; stepsons: Lenny (Julie) Stocks of Muscoda, Dennis Stocks of Mesa, AZ, John (Sue) Stocks of Ithica; grandchildren: Lee (Danielle) Knight, Ashley (Derek) Turner, Danielle (James Shaull) Knight, Stephanie (Rob "Billy Goat" Rogers) Knight, Kylee Knight, Rayne, Jackson and Willow Stocks; 12 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren (with one on the way!); her sister, Marge Neumaier of Arena; her step-brother, Bruce Zifka of Gurnee, Ill; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM until NOON at the AVOCA VILLIAGE HALL, 401 East Wisconsin St, Avoca. Inurnment will commence at Avoca Cemetery immediately following the memorial gathering. The Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home, Dodgeville, is serving the family.
