LaGrange - Carol J. Troyer left her earthly home and entered her Heavenly home on the morning of December 11, 2025.

She was born on February 12, 1940, in LaGrange, Indiana, to Harold and Lela (Morningstar) Miller.

On March 14, 1958, at Plato Mennonite Church, Carol married Donald W. Troyer. They shared 65 years of marriage before Donald went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2023.

Carol was a devoted homemaker, faithfully kept the books for the family farm business, and worked diligently alongside her husband until her health no longer allowed her to do so. She was an active member of Plato Mennonite Church for many years, where she taught Bible and Sunday School and contributed to the music ministry. Music deeply nourished her spirit-she loved hymns, gospel songs, and especially four-part harmony. In 2007, Carol and Don became members of Brighton Chapel in Howe, Indiana.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Don, and her son-in-law, Mark Sellers.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanita Sellers of Angola and Teresa (Dennis) Buell of Angola; her son, Eric (Amber) Troyer of LaGrange; her sisters, Joyce (Phil) Troyer of LaGrange and Shirley Beach of Elkhart; her brothers, Lynn (Jackie) Miller and Dean (Lana) Miller, both of Elkhart; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 West Michigan Street, LaGrange, Indiana.

Burial will take place privately beside her husband at Shore Cemetery, Shipshewana, Indiana.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Brighton Chapel in Howe, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Christian Aid Ministry, The Gideons International of Indiana, or Brighton Chapel.
