1940-2025

Maysville, Missouri…Carol Jean "Jeannie" Wiedmaier, age 85, went to be with the Lord, December 1, 2025 in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, with visitation following. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Jeannie was born July 17, 1940 in Clarksdale, MO to Ollie Kathleen (Belcher) and Welton Wilhelm. On October 3, 1959, She was united in marriage to Francis "Poppy" Wiedmaier. Three children were born to this union.

Jeannie was an avid sports fan who was an exceptional athlete herself. Mammy loved to spend time with her grandchildren playing ball in the yard, fishing or just about any activity as long as they were outside. When she wasn't busy with family, she enjoyed refinishing antique furniture and caring for her flowers. Jeannie had an outspoken personality and an unconditional love for her family and friends. She will be missed by many.

Carol Jean Wiedmaier is survived by her children; Shawn (Margo) Wiedmaier, Todd Wiedmaier, and Gae (Gary) Kolb; grandchildren, Christopher Wiedmaier, Bradi (Jordan) Bennett, Erica (Mike) Ross, Brennan (Lauren) Kolb, Sarayah Wiedmaier, Blayke Kolb, Blayne (Claire) Kolb; Great-grandchildren, August Rain Bennett, Bleu River Bennett, Elam Francis Bennett, Cope Shelton, Naomi Wiedmaier.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Francis "Poppy" Wiedmaier and her parents and four sisters, Marge, Donna Sue, Elizabeth, and Sharon.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Maysville FFA Boosters. Mammy was loved by many and will be truly missed by many.
