, late of Hilton, NY, bid farewell to this world of hurt and entered into her Heavenly reward on May 27, 2022. With her husband by her side, and despite recurrent battles with pneumonia, she departed without pain and without fear.
Carol's life was defined by love and faith. She loved teaching and pet-sitting. Her love for her family and friends was ceaseless and her generosity was never-ending. She was a woman of strong will and strong faith. Despite grievous injuries sustained in a fall that left her paralyzed, Carol's faith in her God never wavered, and she was an inspiration to those who knew her. And when at last she tired of the battle, she dictated the manner of her departing from this life. She faced the end with courage and steadfastness.
Carol will be lovingly remembered by her husband, David; her sisters-in-law, Rosemary Williams and Judith Suhr; her brothers-in-law, Thomas Williams and Al Suhr; her nieces, Jennifer, Rachel, Michelle, Chandra, Sarah; her nephews, Mark, Damien, Devin, Garth, Jeremiah, Josue, Jasen; her brother-in-law, Bob Spelman (Pamela); several grand-nieces and grand-nephews; her BFF, Cathy Koetter; and friends too numerous to name or even remember. She was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd White and Laverna Hilliard White; her sisters, Patricia and Sandra; her parents-in-law, David and Maria Williams; and her brother-in-law, John Williams.
Carol's Memorial Service will be held at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home at 735 East Avenue, Hilton, NY 14468 on June 27, 2022 at 7:00 pm. The family will gather at 6:00.
