Carol Williams Obituary

Carol A. (Tedesco) Williams
Carol A. (Tedesco) Williams, 70, of Windsor, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Born November 22, 1954 in Wheeling, WV she was the daughter of the late Michael Tedesco and Madeline (Elias) Genovese. Carol is survived by her two daughters, Kristin Williams and Emily Williams both of Windsor; a grandson, Reese Udas; a brother, Michael Tedesco; a sister, Susan George; and nieces and nephews, Vanessa, John, Richard, Jeremy, Leeann, and Lauren. She was predeceased by a brother, David Tedesco.
Carol was an avid worrywart who somehow survived 70 years on M&Ms, apple butter, and in her later years, Cup o' Noodles. She was a single mom who would not be told by anyone how to raise her kids, what she could do or when she could do it. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own and gave everything she had to the people she loved, often leaving nothing for herself. She was fiercely independent, owned her own home daycare and cake decorating business, took care of her family, and did it all with no apologies. Carol enjoyed receiving surprise grocery orders and treats, spending time with family, asking an ungodly amount of questions, and laughing so hard with her sister that she cried. Her pride and joy was her grandson, Reese, who shares her sophisticated culinary tastes and affinity for lounging about. Two peas in a pod. We know that as we write this, somewhere among the clouds and stars she is happily arguing with her mother over who is paying for dinner. She will be missed by many, and is irreplaceable in our hearts. We will miss you and love you forever, mom.
