Carol Ann (Curl) Woessner, born on November 14, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, in Sachse, Texas.

Carol spent her formative years in Pittsburgh, where she attended elementary through high school. Her dedication to caring for others led her to pursue nursing school in her hometown, setting the foundation for a lifelong career of service and compassion.

After relocating to Texas with her husband Arnold, Carol devoted over four decades to the field of nursing. She worked primarily in Labor and Delivery at Garland Memorial hospital which later became Baylor of Garland in Texas, where she supported countless families during some of their most meaningful moments. Later in her career, she transitioned into day surgery nursing before retiring in the early 2000s. Her commitment to patient care and her steady presence left a lasting impression on colleagues and patients alike.

Beyond her professional life, Carol was deeply involved with her church community. A devoted churchgoer, she participated actively in Circle of friends activities for many years. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life and brought her joy and fellowship. She also cherished the friendships she built through weekly card games with fellow church members-a tradition she maintained faithfully until illness made it no longer possible.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Arnold (Andy) Woessner and son in law CW4 Andrew Robbins. She is survived by her daughters Cheryl Robbins and her boyfriend Shawn Cook; Sandy Todd and her husband Travis Todd; and her granddaughter Alyssa Robbins. Carol's legacy is one of quiet strength, enduring faith, and unwavering dedication to those around her. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Cheryl, Sandy and Alyssa, I have so many warm memories your Mom (and Dad). Mom always enjoyed the regular lunch and movie dates with Carol. And, as Mom's caregiver, I treasured Carol's support and kindness. Much love and prayers for comfort to you and your loved ones. You were so loved and appreciated.
Love, Jan Brabec
