Carol Young Obituary
Carol Louise Young (nee Edmundson), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late John C. Young; cherished daughter of the late Leon Omar and Grace Louise Edmundson; devoted mother of Michael John Young and Mark (Tracy Lynn) Young; loving grandmother of Jamie L. (Kevin) Copeland, Micheal J. Young Jr., Jacob C. Young, Alyssa Young, and Justin Sattley; great-grandmother of Aidan Copeland, Leah Copeland, and Dominic Young; dear sister of Cathy (Tom) Kluesner; beloved aunt and friend.
Carol deeply loved her grandchildren and never missed a single one of their sporting events. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, and was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan. She shared a close bond with her sister Cathy, her best friend, and together they spent many happy hours playing cards and attending performances with their season tickets to The Fox Theatre. Carol was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Carol's name to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
