Carole A. Beers

1949 - 2025

Carole A. Beers, age 76, of Rome, passed away on November 7, 2025, at Rome Health, after a brief illness.

Carole was born in Washington, D.C. on August 13, 1949, to the late Rex and Rita Conrad Beers. She graduated from Rome Catholic High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Utica College. Carole proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. On June 20, 2002, she was united in marriage to Virginia Gale Lee; a blessed union of 15 years until her passing on April 3, 2018.

Carole was a Harry Potter enthusiast and enjoyed the Peanuts Gang and Oscar the Grouch. She loving earned the title of "Aunt Grouch" from her nieces and nephews. She was also a generous supporter of many causes.

Carole is survived by her sister, Janice M. and Paul R. Wood of Syracuse, UT; her brothers, Larry F. Beers of New York City, Craig J. Beers and Christine Krebs of Lee Center, and James E. and Dawn Beers of Rome; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Carole's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, at 1 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home 12 Noon to 1 PM prior to the funeral.
