Carole Jean Buckingham

Carole Jean Buckingham, age 77, of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at St. Therese Oxbow Lake in Brooklyn Park.

Carole was born and raised in Osseo, Minnesota, one of five children to Roger and Delores Rouillard. She spent much of her life working at Pulaski's Palace in Osseo and Dehn's Country Manor in Maple Grove, where she made many lifelong friends.

Carole was known for her vibrant spirit and incredible sense of humor that could light up any room. She had a passion for making jewelry, gathering with friends for dinner, and playing cards-but above all, she cherished her family. Her home in Rogers was the perfect stop for her children's friends, always full of warmth, laughter, and the occasional shenanigans.

She was a constant, loving presence in the lives of those who knew her and will be deeply missed.

Carole was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Buckingham; grandson Cole Buckingham; parents Roger and Delores Rouillard; and brothers David and Donald Rouillard.

She is survived by her sons Jesse Buckingham and Jason Buckingham; grandchildren Erin (Jake) Hosley, Jordan McEachern, Jonathan Buckingham, Casey Buckingham, and Anthony Buckingham; great-grandchildren Jayze Busch, Gabriel Buckingham, Judah Hosley, and Abel Hosley; sister Bonnie (Joe) Kunze; and brother Robert Rouillard. She also leaves behind many beloved friends and extended family.

A Memorial service will be held at The Peterson Chapel, 300 Main Street North, St. Michael, MN, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning one hour prior. A light lunch will be served following the service. A private burial will take place at a later date.

Carole's legacy of laughter, love, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
