SHREWSBURY- Carole Ellen Dorr, 90, of Shrewsbury died on Wednesday December 25, 2024 at the Mt. View Center in Rutland.
She was born on May 28, 1934 in Rutland the daughter of William and Louise (Holden ) Saintwire.
Carole grew up in Rutland and graduated from the Rutland High School.
She was employed by Tambrands for over 35 years until her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter Shelly Holzworth and husband Cris of Castleton, a son Rick Dorr and wife Marsha of Whitehall, NY, a brother Wayne Saintwire and wife Eleanor of Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert R. Dorr on April 3, 2019, 3 sisters Norma, Phyllis, and Wilma, and 3 brothers Donald, Paul and Lee.
A memorial service will be held 11AM Monday December 30, 2024 at the Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main St, Rutland.
