Carole Dee (Wheeler) Fox, age 85, of Stryker, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Aug. 19, 1940, to the late Gilbert F. and Dorothy Towne Wheeler in Rollin Township, Michigan. She was a 1958 graduate of Archbold High School and graduated from the Toledo Beauty Academy, she owned and operated Carole's Beauty Salon in Stryker for over 52 years. She married David H. Fox Sr. on Feb. 13, 1960, and they shared 65 years of devoted marriage. Carole was also a job coach for many years with Four County Vocational School, served on Stryker Village Council for several terms and was involved in numerous service clubs in Stryker her entire life.
Carole is survived by her husband, David Fox Sr.; her sons, David ( Laura) Fox, Michael (Becky) Fox and Mark Fox Sr.; her grandchildren, Lacey (Jason Fountain) Fox, Mason (Chloe) Fox, Mark (Suzanna Hausch) Fox Jr. and Nick (McKinze) Fox; her great-grandchildren, Lola, Lane and Lincoln.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Larry and Dennis.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, from 1–2 p.m. at Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio. Carole's funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, Pastor Nick Woodall will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Ransom Township, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Williams County Humane Society.
