Carole E. Nix

On Friday, August 9, 2024, Carole E. (Leonard) Nix, age 86, of South Park, passed away peacefully with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Edwin C. Nix; loving mother of Charles E. Nix, Linda Nix (Bob) and Alan (late Tammy) Nix; grandmother of Louis (Giulia) Nix, Corey (Lydia) Nix and Alisa Nix; great-grandmother of six; sister of the late Shirley (Jake) Marcon, Lloyd (Toni) Leonard, and her twin brother Clyde Leonard; also survived by nieces and nephews. Carole worked at Broughton School for most of her adult life. She adored kids and sought to be an active participant in their education and development, and will be remembered for her selflessness, giving nature, and willingness to help others. Friends received Wednesday, August 14 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, (at 6th St.) South Park Twp.
