Carole Louise Porfido

Carole Louise (Salerno) Porfido, 75, passed away in her sleep on November 27, 2025.
She was born in1950 to Anthony and Doris Salerno, she lived in Randolph and Dover. She graduated from Randolph High School in 1968 and attended Morris County College for two years after graduating from high school.
She worked for Dover General Hospital/Saint Clares Hospital for 40 years and worked her way up to being a Histologist.
Carole also married Sam Porfido in 1978 and was married for about 10 years.
She loved animals and had several dogs and cats in her lifetime. She also loved family get-togethers and enjoyed spending time with everyone. She especially loved her nieces and nephews. In her eyes they could do nothing wrong.
Carole is survived by her sister Jean (Salerno) Mikus of Ledgewood; brother Mark Salerno and his wife Victoria (Perez) Salerno of Netcong; niece Brenda Mikus of Breinigsville,PA; nephew Brian Mikus and his wife Samantha (Sweeney) Mikus along with their children Hunter Mikus and Charlotte Mikus of Succasunna.
She is predeceased by her mother Doris Jean Salerno and father Anthony Joseph Salerno of Randolph.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. with a Funeral Service 5:30 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869. Interment is private.
