Carole Louise Randall, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, in the presence of her loving husband, I. Richard "Dick" Randall. Born on April 17, 1942, in Dayton, Ohio, Carole exemplified a life dedicated to family and community.
A breast cancer survivor, Carole’s spirited nature and loving demeanor were evident in every aspect of her life. A family-loving and energetic individual, she was known as a jack of all trades, tackling each new challenge with spunk and enthusiasm. Her proudest accomplishments were her five children: Lisa (Kevin) Rogers, Scott (Cindy) Randall, Rhonda Randall, Chris (Lupe) Randall, and Jason (Pamela) Randall. Throughout her life, Carole cherished every moment spent with her children and their families, and her legacy extends through her numerous grandchildren: Shannon (Steve) Glenn, Jordan (Jackie) Randall, Danielle (Josh) Darnell, Ty Ashbaugh, Sandra Ashbaugh, Ashley Ashbaugh, Austin Randall, Cheyenne Randall, Alasandra (Jordan) Navas, Gregory (Audrey) Lebouef, Jeffery (Luz) Powell, Josh (Alisha) Clymer, Evan (Kiyana) Clymer, Keegan Randall, Kierstin Randall, and Kayden Randall. Additionally, she took immense delight in her great-grandchildren, Tre (Cieara) Stills, Akayla (Bryce) Stills-Fink, Adrianna Fouse, Orion Darnell, Sophie Szeman, Maddex Ashbaugh, Ethan Darnell, Trace Doan, Athena Randall, Lucian Navas, Logan Navas, Chael Lebouef, Sophia Powell, Owen Powell, and Noah Clymer, as well as her great-great-grandchildren, Braylen Stills, Jacelynn Stills, Kinsley Stills, and Tucker Fink.
A testament to her nurturing character, Carole was an excellent seamstress with a wide array of skills, often referred to as a jack of all trades. Her hobbies included bowling, taking care of a variety of animals including dogs, cows, goats, pigs, and raccoons, and she treasured the moments spent vacationing at the beach. Carole also loved spending time with her family, making it a priority to attend her grandchildren’s events and activities, a passion that brought her tremendous joy. Her passion for crocheting led her to make afghans for every child, grandchild, great grandchild and great-great grandchild.
Carole was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Evans, her mother, Pauline Todd, her stepfather, Harold Greene and Emmett Todd, her sister, Deborah Greene, and her brother, Michael Greene. Although she is deeply missed, her memory continues to live on through the lives she touched, the family she nurtured, and the love she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family that will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
