Ms. Carole Evans Rivenbark (a/k/a Carolyn McTiger), of Hope Mills, NC, died Sunday, September 14, 2025, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst at the age of 68.
Carole was born in Hoke County, North Carolina on June 26, 1957, to the late Louise Scott. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Zebulon and Grace Parton McTiger, her husband, Alan David Rivenbark, Sr., and her siblings, Marvin Buddy Scott and Nancy Scott Edge, Luther Henry, Clyde-Loyd Henry, and Edna “Frances” Henry Sherrill. Together, Carole and her late husband owned and operated East Coast Customs (ECC) Auto-Body Shop in Fayetteville until her retirement in 2024.
She is survived by her two sons, Alan David Rivenbark, Jr. and Matthew Philip Rivenbark, her grandson, Caden Dylan Rivenbark, her 4 brothers: Donnell Evans, Glenn (Judy) Horton, Loyal (Holly) Colosky, and Glen (Lynn) Colosky, 2 sisters: Ruth Ann Colosky (Joe) Maitland and Melissa Ann Scott, and her goddaughter, Kristi Carter.
Carole was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She lived her life to the fullest and would go out of her way to help anyone in need.
