GREENSBORO- Carole Ann Roberson, 83, of Greensboro, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on December 31st, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her son’s home in Georgia.
Born in Henderson, on April 5, 1942, Carole was the daughter of the late Clelland Abbott and Irene Abbott. She was also preceded in death by her husband Johnny Butler Roberson of 64 years and her beloved son, Russell Wade Roberson.
Carole is survived by her loving son Anthony Mark Roberson; and her sister, Joyce Peoples (Abbott) of Henderson. She also leaves behind three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who will cherish her smile and memories.
A funeral service was held Thursday, January 8th, 2026 at Crusade Baptist Church and interment followed at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Carole’s life was marked by deep faith to her lord and savior, passionate giving to her church, a devotion to family, and a feisty strength that truly touched all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, Carole’s family has requested donations be made directly to Crusade Baptist Church.
