Carole Nunn Urick

Carole Nunn (Boring)Urick, 85, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at her daughter Julie's home, Saturday, May 15, 2021. Born February 26, 1936 in Cumberland Maryland, Carole was the daughter of Avery and Helen Nunn (Rice). Carole was the beloved wife of Gary Urick, together they enjoyed many social activities in and around Hanover. Carole loved her family and most looked forward to traveling and following her granddaughter Tayler's lacrosse games. Especially her college lacrosse games at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, she loved her "Carolina Blue". Carole was involved in the Lioness Club of Hampstead, The Hampstead American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society of Pennsylvania. Carole spent her career as a secretary for Black & Decker in Hampstead, MD. Carole is survived by her daughter Julie Warehime, husband Troy and granddaughter Tayler of Hampstead, MD. Additionally she is survived by her husband Gary Urick of Hanover, PA and brother Curtis Nunn of Fayetteville, PA. Carole is predeceased by her first husband John David Boring whom passed in 1987 and her mother and father. The family will be accepting friends and family for visitation Tuesday, May 18th from 3-5 & 7-9 pm at the Eline Funeral Home at 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD 21074. Funeral services be held at the funeral home Wednesday, May 19th at 11am. Graveside services will be held following at Hampstead Cemetery at 4114 Black Rock Road, Hampstead, MD 21074. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carole's memory to Carroll Hospice at 292 Stoner Avenue Westminster, MD 21157.
