Caroline Alvarez Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home - Monticello on May 9, 2025.
Caroline Jasmine Alvarez was born on October 27, 2014. From the very beginning, Caroline made sure to do things in her own way. She proved she had an overwhelming strength and determination to be as independent as possible. She had a spark that could not be contained.
As Caroline grew, so did her love for everyone around her. It never mattered to Caroline if she had always known you or was just meeting you for the first time. She was going to love and care for you just the same. Caroline loved people fiercely and deeply with all her soul. In her eyes, she never saw differences between herself and others. She saw a friend and treated everyone the same. She always made sure that others felt loved and wanted.
Caroline was a mother hen to all those around her. Not only did she mother her siblings, but also her classmates, teachers, and any adult. She had a bossy and sassy attitude and made sure that you were always behaving. Her attitude was quickly forgotten when she batted her eyes at you. Caroline was never afraid to speak her mind. It didn't matter if you were a peer or an adult, she let you know without reservation what she thought, no matter the outcome.
Throughout the years, Caroline's love for all things girly blossomed. She loved the color pink, make up, nails, and all frilly things. She enjoyed shopping trips and spending time with others and money. As a true girly girl, she loved riding in her dad's cars and getting manicures from her momma.
Caroline took pride in all things she did. She was proud of herself and her accomplishments. She would celebrate her good grades at school but let everyone know when she was disappointed in a grade too or had a rough day at school.
Caroline had been saved and as a testament to her love and admiration for others, Caroline wrote a song about her Jesus. She reminds us through her song that she had Jesus in her heart and wished that everyone else would have him as well.
On May 6, 2025 Caroline opened her eyes to her Jesus. She leaves behind to cherish and remember her bright spirit, her loving parents, Whitney (Joe) Baker and Jesus Alvarez; her siblings, Chloe Alvarez, Daniel Alvarez, and River Baker; step siblings, Aiden Baker, Adriana Baker, and Logan Baker; maternal grandparents, Teresa Worley (Mark) and Ronald Burnette (Amanda); and paternal grandparents, Maria Alvarez and Jose Alvarez; along with a host of other family members. Caroline also leaves behind a large number of friends and teachers.
Although, physically Caroline is no longer with us, her spirit will always linger, and she will remain forever in our hearts. In her death, Caroline made sure to leave a lasting impression with the donation of her organs to help save four other young people. Caroline cared deeply in her life and in her death she still does.
