Caroline Pearl Morris, age 80, suddenly passed away on March 16, 2025, in Brooksville, Florida under the care of Hospice.

Carol was known by many names, Mom, Mema, Mamoos, Granny Carol, Sweet Caroline, Tikey, and by her late husband, Honey Bun.
Carol was fortunate to have a best friend in Jamestown, New York, of almost 60 years, Shirley Mesler, who misses her so much. Nathalie Chamberlain was her Belgium daughter, coming to the United States as an exchange student and living with the Morris family in 1992. She leaves behind extended family in Spring Hill, Richard and Mary Weeks, whom she loved very much. Her neighbors, Joan and Gina (Skittles) Stockton, in Spring Hill, were a great source of friendship.
Carol and Hal owned and operated the Promenade Shop and Dance Hall, Pinellas Park, where she taught line dancing for many years, before closing the business and moving out of the area.
She loved the Lord and was a member of New Life Christian Church, in Spring Hill, FL, she loved the quest of knowing the Bible and was always studying the word. Her Bible was found lying on her bed, as if she was reading it. Many times, she would say she was ready when it was her time to go home but wasn't in a hurry. This statement is a great source of comfort to her family.
Her pastimes were painting rocks, hiding and finding them at Botanical Gardens, watching the sunset, putting her feet in the water, watching the Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy (don't call when it was on, LOL), playing card games, watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports through the years, in addition to attending sporting events. Mom loved a good bargain and loved to shop for one with one of the daughters.
She instilled into all her daughters and grandchildren, the love of all kinds of music and love of dance. So many memories are shared by all of us, about a song someone associates with her, playing while they were with her, or a dance she taught one of them.
Carol left this world for her heavenly home on 3/16/25, which we associate with her favorite biblical verse; John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
