Caroline A. (Giannotti) Picciano, 90, of Greensburg, died Friday, March 27, 2026, in the Weatherwood Manor. She was born July 11, 1935, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Alexandro and Mary Mastroleo Giannotta.
Caroline, also known as “Sweet Caroline”, had been a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Penn. She retired at the age of 82 from the BonTon as a salesclerk and prior to that, had worked for Montgomery Ward. She enjoyed listening and dancing to Elvis tunes and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond A. Bolena; her second husband, George Picciano; a son, Charles T. Bolena; an infant grandson, Michael Kusiolek and four brothers, Alex, Ralph, Jimmy and Anthony Giannotti.
She is survived by her children, Linda Pritts (Randy) of Connellsville, Daniel Bolena of Evans City, Ronald Bolena (Beth) of Bentonville, AR and Ryan Bolena of Waynesboro, VA; stepson, Philip Picciano (Terry) of CA; daughter-in-law, Darlene Bolena-Skrabak (Charlie) of Trafford; thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer Kristoff (Rob), Michelle Miller (Jeff), Alexa Bolena, Mariana Bolena, Trevor Bolena, Connor Bolena, Jordan Bolena (Sharyn), Samantha Bolena, Jonathon Bolena, Ian Bolena, George Henry Bolena, Peyton Greece (Nick) and Langley Pritts; seven great grandchildren, Tyler and Logan Kristoff, Jonah and Elijah Miller, Charles Alexander Bolena and Corvo and Luigino Greece and several nieces and nephews.
All services will be private, and inurnment will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, Penn.
