Caroline L. Rediske, 92, of Tomah, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Close to Home. She was born on a cold winter night on January 14, 1933, to Wade and Hazel (Shutter) Goff in Tomah. Caroline was a member of the Tomah High School Graduating Class of 1951. On June 9, 1951, she was united in marriage to Herbert M. Rediske in Tomah. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2003.

In life, Caroline worked as a teacher's aide for Head Start for 17 years, as well as teaching Sunday school at the Church of the Nazarene. When she wasn't working, Caroline could often be found tending to her flower gardens, which is something that brought her a lot of joy. She will be remembered for her kind and caring heart.

Caroline's legacy shines brightest in the way she loved her family. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, always ready with a cardboard box, a handful of markers, and a floor to play on. Hugs were never in short supply, and she was known for saying, "Isn't love grand" and "Bless your heart," always with sincerity and warmth. Her apple pies, cut-out cookies, and tender presence will be treasured forever.

She is survived by her two sons, Charles (Jolene) of Waianae, Hawaii, William (Kelly) of Harker Heights, Texas; two daughters, Katherine (Tim) Liddane of Tomah, Beth (Matt) Sullivan of Waupaca; grandchildren, Karli Rediske of Wahaiwa, HI, Patricia (David Miller) Rediske of Augusta, GA, Cassandra (Jakob) Grothe of Fort Collins, CO, Chelsy (Joshua) Rainwater of Harker Heights, TX, Alexander Rediske of Austin, TX, Anna (Mike) Hopke of Stoughton, Thomas (Gabriella) Liddane of Tomah, Joelle (Austin Schmitt) Liddane of Rice, MN, and Gabrielle Sullivan of Waupaca. She is further survived by her beloved great-grandchildren, Lil Kane, Precious, Ethan, Ava, Connor, Lily, Brecken, Milly, Callan, Lydia, Sylvie, Thaddeus, Eden and great-great grandchildren, Mason and Leilani; a brother, Jerry Goff; sister-in-law, Ruth Sommerfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, Herbert; daughter, Dawn Oglesby; grandson Kane Rediske; siblings, Hazel Brohaugh, Betty Tessmann, Frances Miller, Kenneth Goff, Gaylinn Goff, and Lee Goff.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday August 3, 2025, 1:00 PM at Church of the Nazarene, 25481 County ET, Tomah. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Sunday at the church from 12:00 AM until the time of the service. Online condolences can be offered by visiting www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com

I will always remember our visits to Tomah and Aunt Caroline "Cork" always being the one my dad looked forward to seeing. She had a sharp sense of humor and was fond of her "little brother". We will think of you always with fond memories

RIP Caroline. We were neighbors many years ago when Randy was a baby. If I remember right, I think I lived between you and Peggy Alapi. We coffee clutched but I never liked coffee. You are now in a better place.
